This West Coast IBM Storage Scale users group event is open to all IBM Storage Scale (GPFS) and IBM Scale System (ESS) users, as well as those who wish to learn more about IBM Storage Scale.

IBM Storage Scale is IBM’s flagship software-defined parallel file system infused with sophisticated enterprise data management capabilities.  The IBM Storage Scale System is a preconfigured high-performance hardware “building block” for unstructured data storage with unrivaled integrity.  Ready to participate in today’s multi-cloud world of AI, HPC, and Big Data, Storage Scale delivers the performance and agility you need to get deeper insights from your data faster – giving you the edge to outthink and outperform your competition and win in the cognitive era.

Join us for this interactive technical Users Group two day experience on IBM Storage Scale and the Storage Scale System!

Day 1 – Accelerate your AI Model, Training and Inferencing with IBM Storage Scale – Scale New User Day!

The Storage Scale Users Group event begins with a current and new users’ day.  Day one is geared to those interested in learning how IBM Storage Scale can accelerate AI workloads and access data anywhere and everywhere with a global data platform.  This one-day session will explore optimizing your NVDIA Superpod and NVDIA DGX environments for model training and inferencing with IBM Storage scale.

Day 2 – IBM Storage Scale Users Group

Day two continues with a discussion on the IBM Storage Scale strategy, what’s new in Storage Scale and Scale System, features and roadmap. This one-day session will feature discussions from long term Storage Scale users, and a user presented case study topic.  It will also include a session on IBM Storage Scale for AI workloads with NVIDIA; a session on IBM research, Data Resiliency with Storage Scale and why SuperMicro is a great choice for running Storage Scale.
